Trey Rich Scholarship Weekend
Athletes Can is putting on the first ever Trey Rich Scholarship Weekend! The Trey Rich Scholarship Weekend will take place on April 8-9 with a series of events to raise funding for the scholarship fund of Elbert "Trey" Rich who was killed on December 24, 2014 by a drunk driver. On April 8th, there will be an old school vs new school basketball game from 3:30pm-5:30pm at White Station High School. On April 9th, there will be a fellowship luncheon at D'bo's Wings and Things on Malco Drive. The Weekend will culminate on that night with Bowling 4 A Champion. Spartans Win State Football
For the first time in school history, The Spartans made it to the finals and WON STATE! Unfortunately, some of them are having a hard time purchasig Championship rings due to their financial situation.
The team is having a spaghetti dinner sponsored by Coletta's restaurant 2/4/10 at Independent Church for $10 and is selling shirts to help raise money. You can donate or purchase tickets thru the WSHS Booster Club, 5311 Pecan Grove Lane, Memphis, TN 38120. Checks should be made payable to the WSHS Booster Club.
Help these very deserving boys maintain a piece of history.
