George Kraft where are you? And no mention of Raymond N. Bailey III? Why not? It's been 63 years. A Horrendous Happening. So was List. So was Tulsa. Sweeping horrors like this under the rug serve no purpose. Bailey packed into 17 years what most don't do in a lifetime. How great might he have been had his mom been caught in time? Champion, scholar athlete, adored by all in his class. Tragic... Tragic... Tragic! No question about that.. But that's no reason to snuff out his life and not pay homage. Today is D-Day. We salute those tragic lives ended on the beaches of Europe at ages equal to and not much greater than Raymond's. I say do the same for Ray Bailey. Maybe you have.
