ATTENTION Westbury High School Class of ‘74
Let’s Roar For ’74! It’s been 40 years fellow Dragons. That’s 84-94-2004-2014! We’ve come a long way, baby and we owe it to ourselves to shout about it! If you haven’t gotten the word by now, Donna Hoffer, Yvonne Johnson, Gary Russell, and others, have gone to a lot of trouble to arrange a first-class reunion event for the Class of ’74, their guests and WHS Alumni from other classes who want to join in the fun.

The 2014 Reunion is set for the weekend of Sept. 27 at the Long Island Marriott by the Nassau Coliseum.

Weekend tours and excursions are still being planned but Reunion Night at the hotel is set. It includes a dinner buffet, open bar from 7 p.m. to midnight and professional DJ and dancing 8 p.m. to midnight.
Evening events include funny salutes and solemn tributes to classmates who have served in the armed forces as well as to those we’ve lost along the way.
Cost for the event is now $125 per person. Reason for the $10 increase is to ensure we have sufficient funds to cover tips for the DJ and the staff at the Marriott, and for the decorations, name tags, photos, and other extras we are preparing for the big event. We apologize for overlooking those costs when we listed the earlier price, and hope the extra $10 cost does not deter anyone from attending who was planning to earlier.

We want to make this a reality for everyone so we need everyone to step up to the plate and register.
