Dr. Julie Joubert-Guillory graduated co-salutatorian from the Washington High School Class of 1981. She became a teacher at Sacred Heart School for three years before moving to Houston, Texas where she was Houston Preparatory School Teacher of the Year, Spring High School Teacher of the Year and Spring ISD District Secondary Teacher of the Year. She then became an Assistant Principal at Westfield High School in Spring ISD (Houston, Texas) where she opened the district's first ever Ninth Grade Center (1,407 freshmen). After serving as the principal of both the Ninth Grade Center and Westfield High School main campus (total of 5,000 students), she now serves as the Executive Director of Student Services for Spring ISD. Dr. Guillory is a published author, alternative certification instructor, key trainer and educational consultant for DRV Educational Solutions, and area school district auditor. She has had school-based articles published in the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals magazine, as well as the National Association of Secondary School Principals magazine. As a teacher and administrator she was published in Dr. Harry K. Wong's "The First Days of Schools" nationally acclaimed book for educators. Dr. Guillory has over 25 years of school business experience and is a local, state and national speaker.
