940 flight hours as a flying maintenance crew chief on KC-135 Aerial refueling tanker aircraft from 1984-2005. Stationed at Beale AFB, Marysville CA. and McConnell AFB, Wichita Ks. Particapated in Operations Just Cause, Desert Shield/Storm, Northern/Southern Watch, Deny Flight, Allied Force, Noble Eagle/Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom. Deployed to RAFB Mildenhall, England; Kadena Air Base, Okinawa Japan; Eielson AFB Fairbanks Alaska; Incirlik Air Base Turkey; Prince Sultan and Riyadh Airbases Saudi Arabia; Joint NATO Base Mont De Marsan France; Rhein Main Air Base, Frankfurt Germany; Moron Air Base Spain; Aviano Air Base, Italy and Bahrain in the United Arab Emerits. It was an absolute honor to serve in our military. Retirement after 21 years of service was bittersweet, but well worth the sacrifice and effort. Seeing first hand how bad things can be in other countries has given me a greater appreciation of how good things are in our country. Even in these uncertain, times we are all very blessed and very lucky to be living in the United States of America.
