Julie Seymour - Strong

I am sad to say that Julie Seymour-Strong has passed. I had the privilage of meeting Julie in 7th grade and we were the best of friends ever since then.

Please pass on this information to friends that she went to school with so we may all pay our respects.

Julie Seymour Strong, a beloved mother,wife, daughter and friend, passed away at the family home on Februrary 25, 2011. Julie was born in Reno, Nevada on July 26, 1973, at Saint Mary's hospital. She attended local schools and was a proud graduate of Storey County High School. Julie and her immediate family resided in Camarillo, CA. where she loved and cherished her local community. She was attending college in pursuit of a teaching degree, and was scheduled to graduate shortly. Julie is survived by her husband; Corey Strong, her sons; Christopher and Anthony, mother; Mary Lagas and step- father Robert Lagas, her father; John Seymour, brothers; John and Jason. grandparents; Floyd and Patricia Seymour and Paul and Deloris McDonald, as well as, aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Julie believed her sole purpose in life was to make the people in her life around her joyfull and happy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A catholic Rosary will be held at Ross Burke and Knobel Mortuary on Wednesday March 2, 2011 at 7pm. and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 10:30am, also at Ross, Burke and Knobel on Kietzke Lane in Reno. A reception at the family home will follow. A memorial service will also be held in Camarillo, CA. at a later date.
