Enlisted in July of 1968. Trained as a crew chief on old style reciprocating engine aircraft. Went to Vietnam in 1969, and worked on AC-119 Gunships at Phan Rang AB. Also worked as flight crew chief, and sometimes weapons loader. Was retrained to jet aircraft on my return to Dover AFB. Eventually was medically retired due to illness.
