Please join us the weekend of September 27th and 28th.
We will start the weekend out Friday night cheering on Coach John Franco and the 2019 TAHS Varsity football team at the Homecoming game at Gray-Vets Memorial Field at 7:00 PM. The Golden Eagles will take on Bald Eagle Area. Following the game we will gather at the Bull Pen Restaurant to catch up.
On Saturday our reunion will continue at the PGW (former PPG) Pavilion, 4408 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Tipton, for a Homecoming 40th Reunion Picnic/BBQ. Here are the details:
• 3 pm to ?
• Cost: $10 per person
• Dress: Casual
• Please send a check made out to: TAHS Class of 1979 to Joby Hunter, 677 Decker Hollow Rd, Tyrone, PA 16686, also listing those who are attending, no later than September 14th.
• Menu: Catered by The Farm - Picnic dinner at 5 pm
o BBQ Chicken quarters
o Pulled Pork Sandwiches
o Baked Beans
o Macaroni Salad
o Assorted Beverages
o Cupcakes and Cookies by Burket Homestead Farm Bakery
Registration begins at 3 pm, We are starting earlier than usual to allow time to reconnect and catch up with each other.
• We will be taking a class photo at 4:45 pm sharp. If you would like a copy, please bring $10 CASH
• Bring lawn chairs so we can gather around a fire after dinner weather permitting
• BYOB as there will be no bar and the class will not be providing alcoholic beverages
It is also Delgrosso’s Harvestfest weekend. Harvestfest starts at 10 am. $6 admission fee includes rides and entertainment
We will start out cheering on the Golden Eagles at the Homecoming Game at Gray-Vets Memorial Field starting at 7:00 PM. Some of our classmates have children and even grandchildren playing now so let’s cheer them on as we watch the Golden Eagles take on the Clearfield Bison’s. Following the game we will gather informally at the Bull Pen Restaurant where we can catch up with our class.
