Fellow Mustangs: I can’t believe six months have flown by since we met for our first planning session to discuss ideas for our 20th Year Class Reunion. During the previous planning session, we agreed that we would meet again in July. Please join us on Friday, July 3rd at 5:30pm at Golden Corral, 4928 Kahn Drive, Lumberton, North Carolina. Please plan to arrive at 5:30pm for seating and blessing of the meal. Golden Corral is allowing us to reserve their meeting room FREE of charge; however, the restaurant is asking us to dine in at a cost of $9.99 + cost of beverage and tax. There may be a reduced price for children. Please be prepared to EAT ALL U CAN! The meeting space is reserved for two hours. To make optimal use of our time together, the meeting will begin at 6:20pm. Please continue utilizing the money folders that were distributed in December. If family, friends and co-workers provide small donations, it will accumulate. If there is a preference to make personal donations, this is certainly accepted. These collected monies will be safely deposited into our reunion account to offset expenditures based on projected budget costs. This will further be discussed during the meeting. Please bring monies to the July class meeting so our treasurers (Debra Thompson-Chavis and Keisa Davis) can begin making necessary deposits for our reunion account. Before you know it, October 2010 will be upon us. Let’s travel down memory lane and jumpstart it in the spirit of pride as Might Mustangs! Please remember to wear something blue or gold and be prepared to have your photo taken. I encourage each of you to bring past yearbooks, any addresses/emails of classmates or anything else you feel will be helpful in planning this milestone event. Feel free to circulate this information to other classmates. Bring a positive attitude and put on your thinking caps so that we can have a successful meeting to plan our 20th Year Class Reunion.
