Info sought about medical clinic in 1950's and 1960's

My mother gave birth to a child in 1959, and gave her up for adoption. She went to a medical clinic in Slocomb, and saw a female physician, Dr. Benton or Dr. Bennett, I cannot remember whom. The clinic was located a little ways in front of Chris Purvis's parents home, if I recall correctly. It was later turned into a duplex owned by Greta Cotton Hall's family. Mama stayed with a family with the last name of Cox as a nanny/babysitter, and looked after their little boy until she had my half sister, and then the baby was adopted by an older couple in Grangerburg. I have met my sister, but would like to know if anyone knows anything about the clinic. It was a private adoption, similar to the Georgia Tan babies in TN, although Mother's baby was not stolen. Genevieve "Jean" Watson

Jean Watson, my 1/2 sister, was in a Slocomb H.S. class around 1946. Soon thereafter, she married George Harris of Houston Co. I think. She lived with my Grandmother Cora Carroll Watson during high school, along with my Aunt Jessie Watson Sorrells and Uncle Johnny Sorrells. Jean died July 9, 2012 in south FL.

Would like to hear from anyone who new my sister Jean.
