I had enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on Sept 06, shipped of to good ole Parris Island, SC on Oct 16, 2006. Due to injuries during the Crusible, I was Honorably Discharged from the beloved Corps in Dec 07. Injuries includes, broken left foot, torn meniscus in my right knee, and stress fractures in my right hip. My body had never really recovered from them. Spending time on the island, was the most incredible experience I had ever encountered, next to my son, of course. Would I go back to Parris Island again? In a heart beat, but due to the disabilites that I had received, prevents me to become what I had always wanted to become and dreamed. A United States Marine!
