Over the past 23 years in the Transportation & Logistics field I can say I've about travel the world over to many distant places along the way some good/some not. Two Gulf Wars/numerous deployments, speaking of which I'm currently deployed to a undisclosed loaction until Sep 09 (last one) Coming to a cross-roads 1 Jan 2010, thats when I hang up the uniform (retire) and try to convert back to the civilian life.

Marine Corps, 4 Years
Served with the Landing Support Battallion in Camp Del Mar on Camp Pendleton, Ca Marine Corps Base. Landing Suppot Bn. conducts Helicopter Support Team operations. HST ops consist of standing under a hovering helicopter( Marine Corps CH-46 and Ch- 53) to hook up different types of gear via a hook hanging from the helicopter. Check youtube for HST footage.
We also conducted Rail, Beach and Air terminal operations, basically anything dealing with moving, loading and unloading equipment and personnell or anything logistical, we handled it!.
