Bob Emerick Class of 1959
Army, 3 Years Enlisted '66. After Basic & Advanced training at Ft. Dix became an Infantry Officer via Ft. Benning. As a chemical engineer, I then receeived chemical warfare training and was stationed stateside for two years in Technical Escort Center in Maryland as OIC of unit logistics. Direct support to various Asian theatre activities but never permanently stationed there. Declined promotion to captain and returned to my civilian career joining manufacturing management at Monsanto Chemical in Springfield, MA.
Bob Purple Class of 1953
Air Force, 20+ Years USAF/ANG 1958-1964 Highest Rank Tsgt ANG & USAF 1961 Berlin Call-up 1972- 1995 Highest Rank - Brigadier General Time spent in Air National Guard and USAF. Also called up several times for NY State duty. 1st Gulf Warl
Cheryl (Oppel) Petrilli Class of 1961
Air Force, 2 Years 1st Lt., USAF Nurse Corps, Sewart AFB, Smyrna, TN. I was a general duty nurse, caring for military personnel on the medical and surgical units of the 839th Tactical Hospital.
Ed Bak Class of 1974
Navy, 4 Years Served aboard the USS Glover AGFF1 as a Petty Officer Second Class. Home port was Norfolk, VA. However, in four years we were there for only a few months. We served in Cuba, the North Atlantic, the Med. Sea, Middle East including Karachi, Pakistan, and the highlight of my Navy days, a two week safari in Kenya National Park while we we in port at Mombasa, Kenya. And finally the last year in drydock in Phila. Naval shipyard where I met my wonderful Wife Heidi Riether(31 years and counting) who lived in South Jersey.
Lianne M. (Combs) Preston Class of 1962
Air Force, 4 Years Joined on 15 July 1963 and was discharged on 14 July 1967. Basic training at Lackland AFB, TX; tech school for teletype operator at Sheppard AFB, TX. Assigned to 18th Comm Squadron at Westover AFB, MA and worked at 8th AF switchboard because there were no other WAF in the commcenters at Westover.

Navy, 3 Years Stationed in Washington D.C.
