Class of 1973
Air Force Reserves, 20 Years
After attending Centralia College joined US Navy and Hospital Corpsman. Boot Camp was in Orlando, FL, Hospital Corps School at Great Lakes Illinois, 2 years in Yokosuka, Japan, 1.5 years at NAS El Centro, CA. Left active duty to get my BSN at San Jose State University and joined the Navy Reserve. After graduating joined the Air Force Reserve to be a Flight Nurse stationed at Travis AFB, Fairfield, CA. Was activated for Desert Storm and stationed at KKMC in Saudi Arabia.

Five years active duty. 1981- 1986. Served at Ft. Lewis, twice at Fitzsimmons Medical Center in Denver, and Brook Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Tx. Served as a Biomedical Repairman at all duty stations.

Coast Guard, 20+ Years
Served in the Active Navy for 4 years then the Naval reserve for 13. Transferred to the Coast Guard reserve as a medical officer and retired in Dec 2011. I have been deployed overseas in multiple operations such as Desert storm, Enduring Freedom,and Iraqi Freedom as well as several other lesser known names.
