I joined the Marines while I was a senior at Rim and reported to duty Sept 73, after partying all summer. I joined the Army National Guard in 84 and I've been on Active duty since 911. I'm now a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC).

I spent 11 1/2 years on active duty stationed at March AFB in Riverside, CA. 1 year in the Air Force Reserves at Patrick AFB, FL. The remaining of my Air Force career has been in the CA Air National Guard, 1 year at Hayward ANG station and 14 1/2 years at Moffett Federal Airfield in Northern California. I currently serve as the IT manager and have over 28 years of military service.

I spent three years and eight months aboard a wooden deep ocean minesweeper, USS Inflict MSO 456 as an Electrician's Mate. From January of 1959 thru August of 1962. We were home ported at Long Beach CA Naval Station. I made two Western Pacific Cruises aboard her. It took 30 days just to reach Japan! Lots of good times and interesting places we saw.. I saw no shooting war action although we were in at the very start of the Viet Nam war.

9+ yrs in the Marine Corps as an F-4 aircraft hydraulic mechanic. Reached the rank of Staff Sargent E-6. Served 27+ years as an Air Force Reserve Air Reserve Technician worked as an aircraft hydraulic mechanic on KC-135 refueling tankers, C-130, C-141, C-5 & C-17 transport aircraft.Reached rank of Master Sargent E-7. Retired in July 08 with 37 years federal, reserve & active duty service. Currently working for the Royal Saudi Air Force in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on C-130 aircraft as a contractor via Boeing Aircraft Company
