Army, 20+ Years Joined the Army right after graduation and served for 27 years, retiring in 1992. Assignments included Vietnam, Korea, Germany and the Netherlands, in addition to stations in AL, GA, NC, NY, SC, and WA. Currently live in Columbia, SC.

Jerry D. Newman Class of 1964
Navy, 20+ Years Did 24 years flying in the land-based P-3 Orion as a Naval Air Crewman. Vietnam vet - 2 tours (1969-70). Managed to get to 26 different countries in my 24 years. Retired in 1990 as an ATCS (Senior Chief Avionics Technician). Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the different parts of this wonderful planet during my travels and making so many friends for life.
Jerry Newman Class of 1964
Navy, 20+ Years Did 24 years in the aviation community flying in the land-based P3 Orion (Sub Hunter) as a Naval Air Crewman. Vietnam Veteran (1969-70). Accumulated 5,268 flight hours and retired in 1990 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8). Then had to get a real job, so started working on getting degrees and having fun.
