They would let us reserve only so many rooms in our block. More should free up as other groups cancel some of theirs. Next door is the Sunday House, if you don’t want to be on a waiting list. 830.997.4484. Hampton Inn has free breakfast. All meals but Friday night will be “on your own”. There are an abundance of places to eat—Mexican, German, BBQ, country—so finding a place to eat should not be a problem.

Registration includes the meeting room fee, a catered buffet dinner (menu sounds amazing)Fri night, all the set up, clean up, plates, glasses, table linens, wait staff, tax, gratuity, bar set ups and ice . This is a BYOB bar or the hotel front desk will have wine or beer for purchase. It also includes VIP tickets to the Rock Box for Saturday night. This is a music venue which has a fabulous show. They play country, rock and roll and everything in between, This is the music we grew up with so you won’t want to miss this event. We can get a refund up to 3 weeks before the show, so don’t let uncertain plans keep you from making a reservation. John has had to put down deposits for the catered dinner and the Rock Box tickets so please help us out by getting your reservations to him in a timely manner.

This will be a low key reunion—not much planned, just plenty of time for visiting and catching up. If you have pix you want to pass around, bring those, but there won’t be a slide show or video, etc unless someone wants to organize that. If you’re on Facebook, you can find us at PHS class of 64 Reunion. I do updates from time to time. If you need me to email them to you instead, let me know so I can add you to my list.
More and more are beginning to hear about it and we’ve located some on the internet or facebook so our number is growing.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in May. If you have any ideas of what can make this better, go for it. I’m not saying send the suggestion to me, I’m saying just do it And as I’ve said on facebook, every person probably has contact info for at least one person from our class—pls forward this to that secret-no-one-else-knows-about person

Hello Classmates from Pecos Schools, We are currently registering and accepting payments for the Pecos Mega Reunion to he held at the Embassy Suites Outdoor World this coming June. All the information about room reservations is on the Mega web site : www.pecoshigh.com The registration is going well with more and more signing up each day. Some people will be attending we have not seen since elementary school. I would like to thank all of those who have registered and sent in their fees. It has made all the time and effort we have spent to sseeem worth while. Please, if you have not done so, send in your registration information and fee as soon as possible. All meetings will beheld in the Ballroom. To be admitted to any meeting, meal, hospitality room, banquet, dance, etc., it is necessary to pay your $80.00 per person and receive a nametag . Nametags can be picked up at the registration desk outside the Ballroom starting at 4 PM on Friday, June 28th or Saturday all day. Please help get the word out. Class of 72 40th reunion Lisa and I went for a drive through the Hill Country today (beautiful, sunny weather), and stopped to putz around in a couple of places, including Comfort. The manager at Meyer B&B told us they're booking up for October - the only weekend for which they still have more than a few rooms available (32, as of this afternoon) is the first weekend in October. Here's what I can tell you about the place: It's a cluster of historic buildings about two short blocks from downtown (lots of little antique shops and a few restaurants). Most of the rooms have gas fireplaces, or jacuzzis, or porches. It's right on a wide, grassy riverbank, with a tire swing, a couple of wooden swings, and some picnic tables. There are also several good seating areas scattered all over the property - a couple of screened porches, a couple of patios, an adults-only hot tub, a swimming pool, a dining hall with lots of scattered tables and porches, and of course the riverbank. Included in the price of the rooms ($115/night for two people, with additional people at $18 each) is a big breakfast every day, but we'd be on our own for other meals. The majority of the rooms are $105 per night plus the taxes and so forth, once these rooms are gone there will still be some cabins and other accommodations available but at a higher cost. Comfort is about 10 miles from downtown Boerne (great shops), about 20 miles from Luckenbach (nice place to hang out on weekend afternoons to drink beer and listen to live music), and about 30 miles from Fredericksburg, Kerrville, or San Antonio. Meyer B&B will allow us to bring our own booze, and thet don't have any restrictions about where or how much we can drink. It will also cover sound system band or Dj etc. There will be time for much visiting and tours of San Angelo as requested. Ft. Concho is having a Frontier Day Sat. morning till noon. Its free to all except for the pancake breakfast which is $5.00. It includes special displays, 1800's baseball, booths for vendors and children's activities, All fort buildings will be open.
