Marine Corps, 4 Years
Benji served 4 years in the US Marines. As well, he spent 6 months in the Mediterranean Sea on the USS Ponce and saw combat action in Kosovo in 1999. He also aided in earthquake relief in Istanbul Turkey

Completed Basis Training and Advanced Individual Training in Fort Leonardwood, Mo. as a Combat Engineer. Servied in the Army National Guard, 201st Engineer Battalion in Ashland, KY until 1990. Transferred to Active Army in 1990 as a Combat Enginee, serving in Desert Storm, Desert Sheild, and Somolia.
