Favorite School Memory	I have so many great memories from high school - but any of the antics and accomplishments at every day practices. Most any that had to do with running and being with my teammates.
About Me	I moved to North Carolina and went to college in Greenville at East Carolina University! (Arrrg - go Pirates!) I ended up running Cross-Country and some track there. Studied creative writing and museum studies. After school I found my way back up north to Washington, D.C. and somehow ended up working for a non-profit that supports volunteer firefighters. That job really allowed me to develop some new interests and travel a lot. Now, I work as a federal grants manager in D.C. I've also starting growing an interest in nutrition (childhood nutrition/obesity)- thinking about returning to school again... For fun - well - I participate in several of the hobbies I mentioned and something I'm proud of is training for a 50 miler a couple years back. I made my way up to a solid 32 mile run before injuring myself - which some still consider and "ultra" marathon. ...(read more)
