| About Me | Happily married for 32 years to my best friend. Have 3 daughters and one son. Have 5 grandsons and one grand daughter. My family loves music and plays musical instruments. Me I love playing the piano, singing, writing, and painting, as well as sketching in a note pad. I love writing poetry and have had one or two published. Also love to curl up on the sofa with a good book to read on a rainy day. My favorite book is 90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper. I have read this book over and over it is that good. It is his personal story about an accident he was in. Beautiful read. When I bought this book I was attracted to the cover at first sight. I have worked in the medical field a lot, and anything medical is a must for me. I just love it. So the Ambulance on the cover of the book got my attention. When I began to read it I could not put it down. At the time my son Justin had just been diagnosed with Ankelosingspondylitis. We were in route to Jackson University Medical Center for Justin to receive his first round of Chemo at age 13. Needless to say this book helped me in so many ways through every day we faced. It inspired me and gave me hope. My son lost his eyesight for three years due to obstruction of vision. It took three years for his condition to go into remission. He stay's in constant pain. He regained his eyesight and we are very grateful. Anyway I prayed that one day I would personally meet Don Piper and thank him for sharing his personal story, and to explain how his words of encouragement helped me, my son bc I would read it aloud to him and he would cry but Justin would also pray aloud. So Don's story really helped my son in so many ways. He was our Hope. Needless to say we serve an Awesome God bc my prayers were answered. My whole family and I got to meet Don Piper Personally.
