Navy, 14 Years
Joined the Navy in June of 1994. Attended Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. First command was USS Yorktown CG-48 homeported in Norfolk, VA. Next duty station was Naval Submaarine Support Facility in Groton, Ct. From the I went to USS Emory S. Land AS-39 in La Maddalena, Italy for 2 years and after my tour their I went to Naval Support Activity Bahrain for 18 months where I meet my wife in Dubai. From there I went to my current assgnment Afloat Training Group Western Pacific in Yokosuka, Japan.

Served as a Radioman in New York, Greece, Washington, DC, Spain, Hawaii, San Diego, and a variety of points inbetween. Even made a couple of trips to Viet Nam in 1966. Went to Virginia Wesleyan College for a BA in Social Sciences in 1996.

Our North Forsyth High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
