I was a Satellite Communications Technician, I have been stationed/lived in Florida 3x, Philipines, Portugal, South Dakota, England, Pentagon, and now Germany. I have spent most of my career deployed all over the world.

I started being a deck seaman in Vietnam in '69' then my first real ship (USS HOLE DDG-13) in '71'. Then while on this ship, I change my rate to GMG to work on the big guns and stay with that rate. After 23 years I ret. as GMG1 and proud to serve my county wth honor. God bless this great county that we have freedom to live our lives.

Served 24 plus years and retired December 1, 1995 in North Carolina. Was stationed in Germany(2X), Florida, Texas, Mississippi (2X), South Carolina and North Carolina. Deployed to Anderson Air Force Base, Guam during Vietnam War. Deployed to Oman for Desert Shield and to Saudi Arabia for the Gulf War. Received the Bronze Star Medal for actions during the Gulf War.
