NBHS CLASS OF ’65……50th REUNION……….SAVE THE DATE!
Dear Classmate,
The Reunion Committee of the Class of 1965, New Brunswick High School is excited to announce that our 50th High School Class Reunion will be held, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Imperia, 1714 Easton Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey from 1-5 P.M.
This is an afternoon affair and dress is Business Casual.
Tickets: $80.00 if paid in full by May 1, 2015.
“ $85.00 if paid after May 1, 2015.
No reservations will be accepted after September 1, 2015.
Please mail your check, made out to NBHS Class of ‘65, to Whitey Warner, 965 Newton Street, North Brunswick, N.J. 08902.
There are several hotels in close proximity to the Imperia: Holiday Inn, Hilton, Doubletree, Comfort Inn-Davidson Avenue, Somerset…..Fairfield Inn, Candlewood Inn-World’s Fair Drive, Somerset). Although it is too early to set a block of rooms aside for our event at any of the hotels, today’s prices range from $74.00-$100.00. Some of these prices are very low and it is therefore recommended you call the hotel of your choice and book a room ASAP.
We will be compiling a DVD of the last 50 years. If you have any pictures from High School, props such as “saddle shoes”, “football jersey”, “cheerleading megaphone”, prom pictures or other school events etc, please take a picture of the item and its description, and email it to Bill Auer: wjauer@aol.com or Ruth (Hayes) Scott: 1965Zebra@groupmail.com so we can include it in the DVD.
Also, we will be doing a booklet again this year. Since this is our golden class reunion, we would like you to describe (in three lines or less), your most memorable moments of the last 50 years.
