About	Michael and his family lived in Brockport for many years, and after graduating from BHS, Michael joined the 101st. Airborne Army Division and was deployed to Vietnam. He was proud to serve his Country and was honored to receive his Purple Heart. Michael lived in Rochester for many years, and was married to his wife Carol for 43 years. He had four children and six grandchildren. Mike and I always enjoyed talking about our Nativity BVM friends, remembering all of them fondly. Michael passed away suddenly in Florida and was flown home for his funeral. For those who knew him, I'm sure that you remember his smile and sincerity. I was sad to read that the school closed, however the memories and happy times there will always remain close to my heart as they did for Mike. Perhaps when you say your prayers you'll say an extra one for my dear brother and for others that have gone before us. God Bless all of you. Pam Shattuck
