About Event

Last night, our meeting was attended by Daniel S. Perkins, Cecil Scott Lundy, Tammy Garrity, Cassie St. John, Darlene Eastes-Suter, and myself.
According to the vote, October 3 is the date that works for the majority, so we decided to have the reunion on that date, at 6pm, at Sevenelle Farm. This setting will allow us to keep costs to a minimum and will create the casual atmosphere we are looking for.
Tammy has DJ equipment, so she graciously offered to work on the music. She will be happy to take specific suggestions for songs. If someone has a CD they would like to provide for her, please contact her, as this would be helpful. Naturally, we are thinking we will focus on music from the 80s and 90s!
Cassie has contacts who will provide the paper goods, which include our plates, bowls, napkins, plasticware.
Liquor: while Cassie knows someone who could get us kegs for less than retail, it will still cost money. More about this later.
Tea/Lemonade will be provided, and Scott has coolers in which to keep these items. Anything else you'd like to drink, please feel free to provide your own.
Main dishes: we are still exploring and need to get with certain people regarding this. Cassie can provide hamburgers and buns. A sign-up sheet for side-dishes and desserts will be linked at the end of this lengthy note! We are talking about grilling and smoking meat. Condiments are taken care of.
Seating: everyone will need to provide their own lawn or camping chair.
There are 2 fire pits as well; one is larger than can accommodate 10 people, the other a little smaller.
Parking should NOT be an issue.
Now, this IS going to be a low-cost reunion. However, if we want to have a keg or smoked meat or anything else, SOME money needs to be donated. We are asking for $5 from each person to help with this. If you could send money to Dan Perkins at 5086 Max Avenue, Greenwood, IN 46143 between now and October 1 (the sooner the better, really), it would be greatly appreciated.
