Combat duty in Grenada, Afghanistan, and multiple tours in Iraq. Special Forces, Master Parachutist, and Master Army Aviator qualified in the AH-1 Cobra and AH64 Apache Gunships. Commanded Company, Battalion, and Brigade organizations in combat.

Command Sergeant Major Phillip L. Dixon joined the Army through the delayed entry program in October 1985 attending Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He has served in a myriad of positions to include Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Training NCO, Personnel Sergeant, Drill Instructor, MACOM Equal Opportunity Advisor, Senior Operations Sergeant, First Sergeant, Corps Inspector General Sergeant Major, ASSC Inspector General Sergeant Major and Battalion Command Sergeant Major. He’s a Graduate of Webster University obtaining a dual major in Human Resource Development and an MBA in Business Administration. Command Sergeant Major Dixon completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Columbia University, St. Louis, Missouri.
