Enlisted in the US Army Reserves as a split-option soldeir in his junior year. During his time of service Dave served tours in Bosnia, Kosovo, Egypt and a year in Iraq, where he received numerous awards including a Bronze Star for Meritorious Service for his direct part in the capture of Sadam Huesain and members of his key leadership.

In 2002, I came to Vandenberg AFB, CA to support ICBM test launches. In 2006, still at Vandenberg, I was assigned as the Superintendent of the 1st Air and Space Test Squadron, my current position. Here, we are involved in a number of space launch and missile defense missions/experiments. My role is that of the senior enlisted advisor to the commander on all maintenance and enlisted personnel issues.

Served with the 6912th Electronic Security Group as a Polish linguist. Trained at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA and at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX.
