Just a quick update...
There is a slight adjustment to yesterday's posting regarding coming out to the reunion event Friday night. Due to a contractual agreement, only those who paid by the deadline will be getting together from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The great news is that after 9:00 p.m., EVERYONE is invited to come join us for the after party@ The Moose Lodge in Merritt Island. Cash bar will be available, so please bring cash or a credit card to enjoy bar service.
Saturday night starting 9:00 p.m. come join us for the After Party @ Grills Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar in Cape Canaveral. It's gonna be a great time!

Three-Day Reunion! Friday Evening, Oct. 18 (6:30 – 11 p.m.)
Evening Mixer – Casual Dress
Rising Tide, 523 Glen Cheek Dr., Port Canaveral
Appetizers (chicken wings and other thingies!!) will be provided for free (as long as they last). If you’d like, you can donate to the cause that night for more apps, or go rogue and order off the menu at your cost. A cash Pay As You Go Bar will be available. All Classes Welcome.
Saturday Evening, Oct. 19 (6 – 11 p.m.)
50th Reunion Celebration – We are Golden!

Dressy Casual (guessing that means you can wear your high heel flip flops, ladies!)
Dinner buffet at $45 per person to consist of soup, salad bar, two meat (beef/chicken) entrees and plenty of veggie/potato/pasta/rice sides. Vegans or those with special menu needs must call the hotel at 321-784-0000 to make arrangements for their meal. Assorted desserts, coffee and tea also are included. A cash Pay As You Go Bar will be available.

A reunion of Champions celebrating the 78,79,80 State Championship years will kick off with the Friday night MIHS home game. All football players will be honored during the half time. A party at Molly's in Merritt Island will follow the game. Saturday night activities are at the Cocoa Beach Pier.

Celebrate 50 years of the schools opening, with a tailgate party, football game, half time entertainment, possible fireworks to be determined, opening of the time capsule, a parade, walk down memory lane thru the high school with 50 years of memorabilia, a 4 night cruise, if you wish to join, leaving that Sunday August 30, for the Bahamas. This will be the biggest stampede of MUSTANGS ever in Brevard County. Check your class Facebook sites for up coming info. Make sure your email address is available to your person of contact for this event, for your class year. If you've have not yet received info from a person of contact for your class, please consider signing up to help at, MIHSGoldenAnniversary@yahoo.com . The MIHS Golden Anniversary celebration depends on donations, fundraising and community support. You can help by donating any tax deductible amount.
