Hello, again, '72 classmates. I'm re-sending the original announcement from almost three weeks ago. I've highlighted (in bold) an update to the original announcement; it concerns those interested in golfing on Saturday. Also, for those not yet registered for the reunion -- i.e., those that have not sent Denise their $50 check for each person attending the big event, The Clambake, on Sunday -- this second announcement serves as a gentle reminder to please do so (earlier than later would be most appreciated). Lastly, there are "only" about 75 people on this distribution list, so there are 200+ classmates we're not reaching through this list. Any efforts you can think of to help spread the word would be greatly appreciated by all. Feel free to cut-n-paste the announcement below as needed. Maine-Endwell 40th Reunion *** OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT *** Saturday and Sunday, September 8th & 9th $50/person Dear Class of ‘72 – It’s time to kick this thing in high gear. We’ve decided to keep it simple; accordingly, any money for any events on Saturday will be pay-as-you-go. The big event is a clambake on Sunday at Mountain Top View (see below for the time, menu, and directions). To register, please send a check for $50/person made out to Denise Comeaux for each person attending. Although we'd appreciate folks registering sooner than later, the deadline is August 1st so we can give Mountain Top a final count. For those with a name change, please include your 1972 name. And, please help spread the word through e-mail and/or social media; feel free to cut and paste this announcement. Saturday, September 8th schedule: 1) Golf: Traditions at the Glen -- $45 -- 5 tee times from 7:24 to 7:56AM -- do NOT send any money for golf (just pay when you show up) but please e-mail Corks <kcorcoran@stny.rr.com> as he will be keeping a count 2) Tour of the “new and improved†high school at 12:30PM 3) Home football game with Chenango Valley at 1:30PM* 4) Meet at local pub in the evening (details will be forthcoming) * – For those coming to the game, the athletic department tells us that the families and students take up the middle portion of the bleachers. Their suggestion is for the class of ‘72 to sit together on the left side near the concession stand. So, let’s gather there and cheer-on our team!
