Honored Military Alumni
James Martin Class of 1958
Army, 2 Years Drafted in 1963 and took basic training in Ft. Gordon, Georgia. After basic training spent the rest of my tour at Ft. Totten in Bayside, NY just a few miles from Queens, NY. I was the post cashier and spent a number of pleasurable days visiting the World's Fair at Flushing Meadows in 1964. I was able to finish my college degree using the GI Bill.

Army, 3 Years Military Police
Randall L. Bruns Class of 1974
Navy, 16 Years Joined the U.S. Navy in 1974 and served in Orlando, FL as a Hospital Corpsman until 1979. Re-entered the U.S. Naval Reserves in 1983 and served until 1994, when I had to resign due to a medical condition. I was activated during Desert Shield/Storm for three months. I was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Hospital, working both the Emergency Room and teaching an Emergency Medical Technician course. Over the course of my military career I visited Orlando, FL, Great Lakes, IL, New Orleans, LA, Washington, D.C., San Diego, CA, Fort McCoy, WI, and the LST-1190 USS Boulder.
Rich Murrow Class of 1969
Navy, 4 Years TD2 (E-5). Stationed at Fleet Training Group Ford Island/Pearl Harbor. Supported the Anti Submarine Warfare Simulator. Brother Don was Stationed at Barbers Point Naval Air Station.
