Plans have not been finalized. Save the date (Aug. 16 & 17, 2019) and the event will be in the Lebanon area, final location to be determined and sent out with written invitations. We plan a relatively simple gathering with Golf one day, an evening no-host event and a Sat. evening event. Hello Fellow 86ers,
I hope this finds you and yours more than well. Here’s your invitation to the LUHS Class of 1986’s 30th Reunion Week this summer in Lebanon. On behalf of the 86er Reunion Committee, we sincerely hope you can attend.
In the spirit of inclusiveness and community we’ve, once again, attempted to keep the costs low and the giving high. We’ll hopefully have enough events happening that many will be encouraged to attend. We realize many didn’t graduate, moved away, or didn’t finish school for various reasons and we would like all to feel welcome.
As in years past, we’ll have a reflective book of 86er submissions put together of what folks have been doing with the last 30 years. Steve Shuyler has once again been kind of enough to head up this endeavor for us. Please submit your story and or a request for a book to Steve @ shuylerst@comcast.net. Steve will get costs of the book as soon as he gets a solid count and have some available at the reunion.
We will also have a Digital Media Slideshow Extravaganza on Saturday (20th) night and maybe we can coordinate the Stand By Me movie for your viewing pleasure. We would love your submissions to share, embarrass or celebrate for the show because without those, it won’t be much of an extravaganza. Please dig through your old shoe box for a few pictures, flyers, stickers or various memories and submit to the committee @ luhs86ers@gmail.com
For those of you so inclined to attend the Saturday night dinner at the American Legion Post #51 86er Dinner on 8/20, Please enclose a check (payable to the LUHS Class of 1986) with the attached flyer for $25/person dinner. In the past we have had 86ers donate, either in adding to or without attending, to the local non-profits in Lebanon on behalf of the Class of 1986. We’ll be voting on a couple of local non-profits online and at the reunion for any money raised and extra money after limited expenses are paid.
