My name is Detective Julie D. Goble. I am a detective in Alexandria, Virginia. A fellow detective who used to work in my unit long ago (in 1989) recovered a class ring from your school. He has asked for my assistance in his continued efforts to find the owner. This is not an inquiry to prosecute a perpetrator (the suspect in the related case was prosecuted long ago). We would just like to see that the owner gets their ring back. The description is as follows: Women's 10K yellow gold ring with an engraving inside that has initials of, "LMF," or, "LWF." The side of the ring indicates it is the class of 1974. There is a red stone in the ring that is either a ruby or garnet. The wording on the top of the ring around the stone says, "Lancaster Central Senior." The ring was made by Jostens. Please call and/or email me and advise if you are able to assist us. My desk: 703-838-4082. My email: julie.goble@alexandriava.gov. Thank you.

Found in 1989: 1974 "Lancaster Central Senior" gold class ring with red stone. It is a small, woman's ring with the initials "LMF" engraved inside. I am a Detective with the Alexandria, Virginia Police Department and I would like to get this ring back to its owner instead of destroying it.
