Honored Military Alumni
Chuck Pavelka Class of 1966
Army, 3 Years Trained and assigned to a 105mm Combat Field Artillery Unit (5/27th). Served two tours in Vietnam (68 & 69). Our motto was "You yell, we shell like Hell".
Daniel Carlton Class of 2002
Army, 5 Years Stationed in Louisiana (before Katrina), 2 tours to Iraq totaling about 3years there. Honorable discharge, but came home with PTSD. Loved every minute I served and would do it all over again.
Daniel Doyle Class of 1966
Navy, 4 Years Navy corpsman, O.R. instructor, Field Medic-Second Marine Division. 1968-1972
David Drickhamer Class of 1967
Coast Guard, 13 Years 6 years Coast Guard as a Quartermaster 7 years Army National Guard in artillery as fire direction control, forward observer and sniper.
David G. Slife Class of 1971
Army, 20+ Years Joined the Army 1972. Served three years active duty in Hawaii & Korea. Joined the Reserves after release from active duty. Served as a medic with the 256th Combat Hosp and Senior Flight Medic with the 316th Med Det HA. Flight Medic attached to the 1st Cav Div in Desert Storm.
David M. Andregg Class of 1958
Navy, 3 Years 1 Year shore duty at Little Creek, Va. 1 Year aboard the USS Hoist, ARS 41, Rescue and Salvage. Spent 6 weeks stationed off Bermuda placing underwater hydrophones in Atlantic Ocean up to 5000 feet deep. Used for detection of enemy submarines. 1 Year USS Vulcan, R-5, Repair Ship. Both ships stationed in Norfolk, VA. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Navy, 20+ Years Chief Hospital Corpsman Served at several Navy hospitals and also with the Marine Corps in Vietnam as a combat medic.. WIA during both tours of duty in RVN Retired in 1984. Currently living in Lake Placid, FL

Air Force, 4 Years Worked on B-52 camera systems, transferred to Base Photo Lab. Photo equipment repair. Official USAF Photographer, SAC
James T. Whalen Class of 1950
Air Force, 4 Years Aircraft mechanic On B-29's B-50's KC97's. Aircraft crew Chief on KC97 refueling tanker that refueled B-47's stateside and overseas. Served from 9/17/51 to 9/16/55. Served at three overseas locations and three stateside locations.

Army, 6 Years Tanker

Navy, 20+ Years Served as an Operation Specialist Retired as CPO
Jerry gill Class of 1981
Air Force, 20+ Years Served around the world as an Electronic Warfare technician including a stint in Denmark. Served in 4 combat engagements including Desert Shield. Became a Space Operator following the first gulf war supporting the GPS Initial Operations. 2 years in Australia then to Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD) as a test engineer. Retired in 2001.
