Place: Bodacious Bar-B-Q—4521 Hwy 42 North, Kilgore (near Interstate 20). We have reserved a private room located on the left after you enter the front door.
Time: You can arrive as early as 4:30 p. m. and stay until the restaurant closes at 7:30 p. m. (eating and visiting—no planned program)
Cost: Dutch treat
Saturday, April 30
Place: Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communication, 416 E. Main Street, Kilgore (Former location of Chevrolet dealership across from St. Luke’s United Methodist Church)
Time: We have reserved the museum from 3 p. m. to 9 p. m. We can visit, self-guide through museum, and enjoy refreshments until dinner is served at 5:30 p. m.
Note: The Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communication is one of Kilgore’s treasures. Classmates and guests can self-guide through the museum or schedule guided tours from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Friday and Saturday. Cost is $6 per person.
Food: Catered fried catfish filets/fixings and dessert. Caterer will serve at 5:30 p. m.
Cost: $35 per person (Cost includes building rental, catered meal, decorations, mailing costs, refreshments, etc. Make check payable to KHS Class of 1961.
