Marine Corps, 4 Years Parris Island; then trained to be FAA Certified Air Traffic Controller; discharged from Vietnam in Feb 1965
Edward R Kreinheder Jr Class of 1967
Army, 20+ Years Serving as a Medical Operations Officer, LTC - Reserve Officer on Active Duty, for the Office of the Surgeon General / HQ Dept of the Army, Pentagon, since Nov 01. Prior Enlisted service (1969 - 1977) as an Staff Sgt Medic in a Reserve General Hospital, and then Direct Commissioned in 1977 as a Medical Service Corps Officer.

Marine Corps, 3 Years Served as a Corporal in a 60 mm mortar squad with the Sixth Marine Division. Fought in the battle of Okinawa during WW II.

Marine Corps, 3 Years Served in the Pacific during WWII. Was a Corporal of a 60mm mortar squad and fought through the entire battle of Okinawa. Was wounded once and received the Purple Heart.

Air Force, 4 Years Worked in Air Force communiation intelligence. I spent one year in Vietnam and my last two years at the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade. Maryland. For the most part, I enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. Plus, the G.I. Bill allowed me to afford college.

Linda Stackpoole Thompson Class of 1965
Army, 3 Years Joined the Army in January 1977. After Basic Training at Ft. McCLellan, went to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis. After graduating as a Broadcast Specialist, went to Stuttgart Germany for 1 year as an afternoon DJ...then went to Frankfurt Germany HQ American Forces Network Europe, for 2 years as a Network Radio News Anchor and some TV.. Got out of the army after my enlistment was over and stayed in Europe for another year. Went back to the states and worked at several Radio Stations as a news anchor. Got married, and went back to Germany for another 6 or 7 years. Got remarried and went back to the states again....now we live in Florida. Although I would love to live in Germany again for awhile, at this point I think we will stay put for the time being.

Army, 4 Years 4 yrs. active duty Army from 1962-1966 w/assignments in Okinawa (1963) and Vietnam (1965-66). 19 yrs. Air Force Reserve for a total of 23 yrs. military time. Retired from AF reserve as M/sgt.
Nicholas J. Paolini Class of 1961
Army, 2 Years Sgt. - U.S. Army 1966-1968. Served 1 year in Vietnam with 86th Combat Engineer Bn. (67-68) 8 months in field operations. Involved in TET Offensive Jan. 68. Awarded Bronze Star with Oak Leaf for actions against an armed enemy during TET. Awarded New York State Conspicous Service Medal by then Gov. Carey. Served as S4 Pentagon liason at Ft. Meade MD till discharge Oct. 68.
