Paul Zurita Ramirez

Senior Chief Petty Officer (CECS) (SCW/FMF) Paul Zurita Ramirez served in the Navy for 19 years. He served as a Seabee Electrician. Was deployed to Iraq twice and to Afganistan once. He traveled the world representing our Country with Pride and Honor. Received his Associate Degree in Applied Electronics, was an Instructor, Recruiter, received a medal for Valor while serving in Afghanistan. Paul was an outstanding individual and excelled in all his endeavors. There is a memorial honoring Paul's service, it is located out side the Headquarters of the Navy Recruiting District San Antonio (located in Fort Sam Houston). Paul was born on April 5, 1976 and died on April 22, 2014 from PTSD wounds received while in Afghanistan. He left behind his wife Divina and 6 children; Katherine Brooke, Jeremiah, Tabitha, Arron, Maximus, & Sebastian. This is being submitted by his mother Yolanda Z. Donias.
