5 September 1969 enlisted in USAF at Oakland, Ca. Then on to Lackland AFB, Tx for training which led to additional training at Sheppard AFB, Tx as an Aircraft Jet Engine (1-2 Engines) Technician. Followed by assignments to Laughlin AFB, Tx, Udorn AB, Thailand (TDYs to Vietnam), Randolph AFB, Tx, Medina Base, Texas (Officer Training School), Rantoul AFB, Il, Clark AB, Philippines (TDYs to Japan, Hawaii, Guam, Wake Island), Hill AFB, UT (TDY to Squadron Officer School at Maxwell AFB, Al), Altus AFB, OK, Ramstein AB, Germany (TDYs to England, France, Belgium, Netherlands), Dyess AFB, Tx (Saudi Arabia, Irag, Bahrain, Panama), Kelly AFB, Tx (Last duty station with TDYs to Panama and Peru). Retired effective 1 January 1998 as a Lt Col. Throughout my military career remained in aircraft logistics maintenance and support (contracting/procurement, engine and aircraft, missiles, ammunition, aircraft battle damage support, parts distribution for aircraft and engines). Also completed Associate, Bachelor, and Master degrees during military service.

I graduated with a 4-year AROTC scholarship and attended Prairie View A & M University where I served as the first female Cadet Battalion Commander 1978-1979. I was commissioned in the Combat Army Branch of Signal Corps. I served in Korea (304th Signal Bn and 36th Signal Bn); Fort Bragg, NC (503rd MP Bn, and 426th Signal Bn); Fort Gordon, GA (1st Signal School Bde, Company Commander, Bn Executive Officer, and Instructor); 7th Signal Bde, Mannheim, Germany; Defense Information Systems Agency in Arlington, VA; Fort Sam Houston, TX HQs 5th US Army & Readiness Group. I retired as a Major. I am proud to be a professional soldier, wife, and mother. Excellent career choice.

Served as the Navy Liaison at Landstuhl Regional Army Medical Center. Served in the IraqWar, where I was in charge of 30 of the finest Devil Docs a unit can have. Very proup and very Blessed that I choosen to serve with them in Iraq.

Became a Marine Drill Instructor amd a Formal School Instructor> After being out of the military 9/11 had me back in the military serving with the U S Army after being out for 20+ year in Iraq with 812th QM Company. Retired in 2011.
