About Me	Bio: Justin Gullett, a film Director from Memphis, Tennessee and CEO of motion picture company Red Thread Pictures, is rapidly gaining global attention. Through his cutting-edge approach with directing, Justin has won three national and one global film award and has been acclaimed by Hollywood legends and the general public through the Fox program “On the Lot” and “The Next GAC Star.” His bold intuition and innovative approach to storytelling is exemplified in his strong portfolio of films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos. In 2007 three of his original films, “Chance Encounter,” “Distortion,” and “Suspension”, were entered into the Fox program produced by Steven Spielberg “On the Lot” where Justin tackled writing, producing, casting, and directing the aforementioned award-winning short films while only being allotted five days per film from concept to finish. During these five day periods, Justin had to create and develop films worthy of competing against an array of the world’s elite upcoming film talent in addition to making a lasting impact in the minds of Hollywood legends. Justin’s short film “Suspension” was hand-picked by Steven Spielberg, Mark Burnett, DreamWorks, and 20th Century Fox as a top 100 film out of the 12,000 films from across the globe. Among his other entries, “Distortion” placed first out of 22 million votes in “The Nation’s Choice Award”, a national popular vote during the Fox program “On the Lot’s” online Movie Making Challenge. Short films are hardly the extent of Justin’s abilities and award winning portfolio. During the 2008 season of “The Next GAC Star”, Justin directed and produced a country music video for the band “Dirt Brothers” that instantaneously skyrocketed up the charts. Only a few months later and for the second time, Justin’s work again claimed the coveted “The Nation’s Choice Award”, but this time on GAC TV. Not to many people’s surprise, his music video won by popular vote out of 5,000 nationwide competitors during “The Next GAC Star” competition. Justin continued to overachieve in short film and music videos but shortly thereafter eased right into the major motion picture titled “A Fine Step.” Being highly sought-after, he joined the crew of this feature film as Executive Producer and Second Unit Director. “A Fine Step”, starring Luke Perry, Leonor Varela, and Justin Baldoni. ”A FINE STEP” released worldwide July 2014. Conquering a variety of types of filming, he also directed two new TV pilots titled “King of The Road” and “Vetted.” The Second of these TV series, “Vetted”, is a Corvette series starring Jeff Hammond, Fox Sports broadcaster for NASCAR, and Drew Waters star of NBC’s Universal’s TV series “Friday Night Lights”. In a step off into a different field of media, Justin also worked with Sherrie Daly on her book “TEED OFF” in 2011. Justin helped agent and publish this highly controversial tell-all book by the former wife of PGA tour superstar John Daly. In December 2011, Gullett received the honor of being personally invited by Russian President Putin on behalf of the nation of Russia as one of the top fifty businessmen in the United States between the ages of twenty-five and thirty-five. During this two week period, Justin alongside his fellow U.S. businessmen, attended several conferences between the two nations, and Justin was given the privilege to represent the entire United States film industry. Always looking for new challenges and broadening his horizons, Justin teamed up with his partner Larry Thornton, CEO and software innovator of the globally acclaimed company Software Earnings, and formed his motion picture company in 2012 titled Red Thread Pictures, LLC. Shortly after forming Red Thread, Justin directed the highly anticipated home workout series LOCHTE hard-CORE Vol. 1, starring 11 time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte and his world-renowned trainer Matt DeLancey. Through his film company, Red Thread Pictures, Justin also just released his latest film ad produced alongside Executive Producer Larry Thornton for Love Worth Finding Ministries with Dr. Adrian Rogers. Compelling and contagious, this film ad quickly went viral and circled the world in a mere forty-eight hours. Its powerful and timeless message has helped reshape and energize the ongoing efforts of Love Worth Finding. Adding to his ever-expanding portfolio, Justin just finished Executive Producing/Second Unit Directing the feature film thriller “Cassidy Way” alongside director Harvey Lowry, two-time Academy Award winner. The Film release worldwide summer 2015. In July Gullett competed 2nd Unit Directing on the feature film “Union Bound.” A Union Soldier in the Civil War goes to war to free slaves but finds that he is freed by them. Directed by Harvey Lowry and produced by Red Thread Pictures. Justin just finished 2nd Unit Directing on the short film “Light On Sunshine.” In the way of upcoming projects, Justin, through Red Thread, is gearing up and slated to direct the feature films, “The Last Story of David Allan”, “Heaven”, and produce “A Southern Christmas” in early 2015.
