HILLSBOROUGH HIGH SCHOOL c/o 1979 30 YEAR REUNION Dear Classmate…. It’s time to stir up some of those high school memories! Plans for the HHS Class of 1979 - 30 Year Reunion are in place and we want to hear from you! A more casual, relaxed reunion are the plans. Anyone who would like to attend (regardless of the year they graduated from Hillsborough High School) is invited. Of course, your date/spouse is invited, too! Please take a moment to review the following information and respond ASAP, as time is short. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Friday, July 31, 2009 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm Courtyard Reception Hilton Garden Inn - Tampa Ybor Historic District Light hors d’ oeuvres and cash bar will be available Attire: Very Casual/Comfortable (Shorts, jeans, etc.) The cost of the reception will be included in your hotel stay (when checking into your room, you will receive a wristband for admission). Reservations for the Hilton Garden Inn can be made directly to the hotel at: http://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/groups/personalized/TPAYCGI-HHS-20090730/index.jhtml If you do not plan on staying overnight at the Hilton Garden Inn, but would like to attend the reception, then you may pay $10 at the time of the event to receive a wristband (yes, $10) to join us. After the Courtyard Reception, we can go to dinner at any restaurant in Ybor City (walking distance) or even take the trolley over to Channelside, where there are shops, various restaurants and dancing. Saturday, August 1, 2009 7:00 am – 11:00 am Breakfast is served at the Hilton Garden Inn – Tampa Ybor Historic District. We can plan to meet at 9:30 for breakfast. The cost of breakfast will be included in your hotel stay. You will receive a breakfast voucher upon your check-in. If you do not plan to stay at the hotel, but would like to join us for breakfast, you may obtain a breakfast voucher at the hotel the morning of the event for $10 (yes, only $10). During Saturday mid-morning and afternoon, feel free to relax in the pool area of the Hilton Inn, stroll thru Ybor City or trolley over to the Channelside District where there are shops and The Florida Aquarium. Or, take a nap to recover from Friday evening or to rest up for Saturday evening…. Saturday, August 1, 2009 5:30 pm - ?? Bernini’s Ybor City A one block walk from the Hilton Garden Inn at 1702 E. 7th Avenue Buffet Style Dinner (Italian Food), Open Bar and Dancing. Attire: Casual Nice (Suggestions: Guys, leave the jackets & ties at home…wear Dockers, casual slacks, etc. For the Ladies…slacks, casual dresses/skirts with comfortable “dancing†shoes) The cost for Saturday evening’s event is $125 per person in advance ($135 per person if paid at the door).
