The Class of 1971 is moving ahead with reunion plans for Saturday, May 29, 2021. Plan to meet at St. Ann’s Parish Hall, 508 N. 8th, Hiawatha, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. This will be a casual get-together with attendees bringing their own refreshments and snacks to share. Members of the HHS Class of 1971 will gather at the new Catholic Community Building from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, May 27.
Due to the short notice, we would like for classmates to RSVP by May 15 if at all possible. You can either text Susan Grimes Kneisel at 785-547-7997, or email her at greshe@rainbowtel.net. Just include your name and contact information, and how many will be attending.
We will have snacks and drinks (tea, water, etc) provided, but if you would like to add to it, please feel free to do so. It is also BYOB. We will have some set-ups there, along with cups for the drinks and plates for the snacks.
We will be asking for donations to cover some of the cost for this event, AND for a start on our 50th reunion gathering. The committee also would like for you to be thinking about what plans you might like to see happen for the 50th reunion. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Hope to see as many as possible there!
