About Me	I was active in the Chamber of Commerce in Hermann for the 12 years I lived there after graduation from HHS. I was the first female President of the Hermann Chamber of Commerce. I served as Outdoor Entertainment Chairman for the Hermann Maifest for about 6 years. In that capacity I coordinated all the outdoor entertaiment throughout the city. I was a cast member of The Music Halle Show (Rotunda Show) for 15years. I sang in the Church Choir at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. I have been in the insurance business since 1961, asthe owner of J. J. Rode Insurance Agency (sold the agency in 1972) Moved to Jefferson City where I became a CSR for Nelson Vincent Insurance Agency. Nelson Vincent Agency merged with the Wallstreet Insurance Group in 1996. Attained my ACSR and CISR designations before retiring in 2007. Began working part-time for Wallstreet Insurance group marketing Medicare Supplement coverage, Individual Health Insurance and Long-Term Care coverage. I have written and had several articles published in the Jefferson City New-Tribune Business Section regarding Long-Term Insurance. I have been married twice.
