Army, 5 Years

Enlisted in 1997 as a Specialist (E-4) Cryptologic Linguist Korean. Spent two years in language and specialized training at Defense Langauge Institute, Goodfellow AFB, and Fort Huachuca.

Spent 1.5 years assigned to the 102nd MI Bn, 2d ID at Camp Essayons, South Korea as a Low Level Voice Interceptor and TRQ-32 Team Leader. Promoted to Sergeant in May 2001 and was the Distinguished Honor Graduate of his sergeant class.

Spent 1.5 years assigned to the 3rd MI Bn, 501st MI Bde at Camp Humphreys, South Korea as a Guardrail Voice Interceptor and ComSec Custodian.

Awards: Army Commendation Medal (3), Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal
