Dear GCHS classmate of 1975, It’s that time again! Our 35th class reunion is coming up and we’d like to give everyone ample time to plan to attend this coming summer. We didn’t have a 30th class reunion so it would be great to see our classmates get together again! Our reunion will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the Butler building at the Grundy County Fairgrounds. There will be a casual meal consisting of: hors d’ oeuvres, pork sandwiches, potato salad/chips, brownie and lemonade/iced tea. Alcohol is BYOB. The cost of the reunion is $25.00 per person. This is to cover the cost of food, building rental and supplies. Please make checks payable to GCHS Class of 1975 and mail to: Melodie McLean - 401 Coates Street - Parkersburg, IA 50665 We ask that you mail in your RSVPs with payment by May 15, 2010. Plans are to participate in the Felix Grundy parade on Saturday afternoon, July 10th. The floats will be lining up at the fairgrounds to begin the parade at 4 p.m. Please plan on arriving around 3:30 if you plan to be on the float. I will be putting together a short biography booklet for the class to enjoy so I need each of you to send me information about yourself that you would like to share. You know, just a brief biography of life after high school ….continuing education, jobs, family, hobbies, or anything else you may want to include…it’s up to you!
