Army, 3 Years
Captain.
Bill served in Military Intelligence during the Vietnam era. He served as a reserve until being honorably discharged in 1985. Bill passed away Jan. 19, 2002.

Army, 20+ Years
I served on active duty with the US Army from February 1956 until January 1958 and then with the Oregon Army National Guard from April 1958 until December 31, 1996. I retired as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW5) and was the first CW5 in the Oregon Army National Guard. I was also employed as a Personnel Officer for the Oregon Army National Guard.

Our Gaston High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Gaston High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Gaston are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
