This year is special as we've reached our 50th REUNION.
We'll have a DJ playing OUR kind of music, Photographer, Prizes, Photo Area for Social Media and the best reunion cake ever.
The Tavern, which was our old Perkin's Pancake House breakfast spot, has allowed us to completely take over the place for the entire night. Awesome pay-as-you-go food and drinks!

Hi Everyone, Here's the latest information on our 55th Class Reunion. The dates are September 16 & 17. Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Nautica Queen on the 16th, departing at 7:00 PM, cost is $34 per person. Catered picnic on the 17th starting at noon in a park setting, 99% sure of the location, but can't confirm till April 1st. At any rate the date is set and the caterer is Mission BBQ, a veterans group. Cost is $18 per person, soft drinks included, BYOB. The Tribe is playing an afternoon game on the 16 at 1:00 PM. The Club seat prices have gone up quite a bit since our last outing, best price is $90 per person. We can have a group outing in section 171, not Club seats, along the left field line at $37 per person. Let me know if you're interested in seeing the Indians, if there's enough interest I can make arrangements, minimum 20 people. Also considering an informal get together on the evening of the 15th at a local pub, any suggestions let me know. Just in case you’re unaware we have a Group on Facebook.com called ‘GHHS Class of 1965 Group’ where information of class events is posted. It’s free and the latest in internet social networking sites. Just get an account, it’s free, ‘friend’ me and I’ll send you an invitation to join our group. We also post all the information on Classmates.com. It costs about $30 per year to be a member on Classmates. Having said all that. Welcome………..
We are having a special luncheon on Friday August 28, 2015 in Garfield Park which is now part of the Cleveland Metro Park System. This event will be at the Red Oak Shelter from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pierogi’s(Sophies/Perla) and Pizza(Teresas) are the foods for the day. And if we get adventurous there might even be some grilled sausage (Italian and Kielbasa). Beer and wine are allow at the shelter so bring your favorite libation. If you have any picnic game(hole em’) bring them with you. This is a great way to kick off a fun weekend.
Later that evening, beginning at 6:00 PM, meet us at the Holiday Inn, 6001 Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131, Friday August 28, 2015 for a casual mixer. The appetizers are paid for by your reunion event admission. Drinks are on a cash bar basis. We have reserved a private room adjoining the ‘Impulse Lounge’ from six till closing. Entertainment, a DJ till seven followed by live entertainment till closing, provided by the bar. Don’t forget your brag books loaded with pictures to share.
Then on Saturday August 29, 2015 the ‘50th Class Reunion Celebration’ starts at 6:00 P.M. and concludes at 11:30 P.M. We have reserved the Knights of Columbus Garfield Party Center, 10808 Granger Rd, Garfield Heights, OH, 44125. Dress for an informal evening of fun and friendship. Photos will be taken as you enter the hall by Mydi Photography. The serving format is the traditional buffet starting at seven thirty. A dinner prayer, a few brief announcements, and a moment to remember our deceased classmates will precede the meal. Then for the rest of the evening, you’re on your own. Drinks are on a cash bar basis. Enjoy yourself by visiting with friends, taking photos, dancing, and remembering all the fun we shared fifty short years ago.
Admission for all three of these events is $75 per person. Your admission fee includes the Luncheon in Garfield Park, the Mixer at the Holiday Inn and the ‘50th Class Reunion Celebration’ dinner/dance at the Knights of Columbus Party Center.
Sunday, August 30, 2015, there will be a golf outing at Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley. Tee times are reserved beginning at 2:00. We have a reduced rate of $40 per golfer which includes your green fees and a cart. After golf join us for dinner in the clubhouse. Let Ken Sislak know if you are planning on attending.
