Entered USN in 1972. Machinist Mate “A” school, USS Kansas City AOR-3 out of Long Beach @ end of Vietnam war. Naval Nuclear Power school @Mare Island Naval Shipyard (Bay area California) , A1W reactor prototype @ Idaho, New construction for USS Nimitz (A4W reactor)@ Newport News Shipyard Virginia, A whole bunch of sea time until discharge from USN. BS Engineering @ Purdue U (class of 82) ,Electric Boat~ S6G reactor test school (Los Angeles class submarines) Naval Shipyard test engineering, Norfolk Naval Shipyard test engineer on (D1G, D2W, A4W/A1G, S6G) , NNSY nuclear refueling engineer for S6G, D1G, D2W, S8G reactors. S9G design review board @ Knolles Atomic Power Lab in NY. Retired in 2009.
