About Me | Live for the moments you cannot put into words! Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. - Dr. Seuss ♥ Always tell the people you love that you love them ♥ ♥ In loving memory of the sweet angel we lost at 5 weeks ♥ I am a cook, encourager, listener, friend, speaker, cheerleader, comforter, outgoing, spontaneous, vivacious, tenacious, hardworking, and dedicated. I am a lover, fighter, sister, aunt, neice, cousin, daughter, wife and mother. I'm everything and much more....i am a woman of God! Romans 12:1-2 " Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as a living sacrice, holy and pleasing to God this is true worship. Do no conform to the patern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what god's will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will." There are many people who are throwing out all kind of predictions to when Jesus is returning. The Bible does say that we “The Bride, or True Christians” will recognize the general season when Jesus will be returning. But we have to look for the signs and certain occurrences before Christ return. Just a few examples would be…The War of Gog and Magog is that is described in Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39. These chapters follow the amazing prophecy of the rebirth of the nation of Israel in chapters 36 and 37. Israel was reborn, just as Ezekiel predicted in 1948.Many Bible students equate the War of Gog and Magog with the Battle of Armageddon, but it is most likely the same as the war of the Second Seal in Revelation 6:3-4. This is the great war at the beginning of the Tribulation, while the Battle of Armageddon takes place at the end of the Tribulation. The Tribulation is the prophetic period of time predicted by Daniel as the last seven years of Israel’s history. It takes place just before Messiah returns to begin the peaceful Millennium (Daniel 9:24-27; Ezekiel chapters 40 through 48). Also the anti Christ has to set himself up as the ruler of the world, the descriptions and explanations of his role and characteristics clearly describe a man of middle eastern decent. Mark 13: 3.2 Jesus said “No one knows the hour or day when Jesus will come back, not even the angels or Jesus himself, but only God knows that information” Now think about it for a minute…..you mean to tell me that Jesus and the angels don’t know when Jesus will return, but God has let “some man” down here figure it out….? Seriously..How absurd. Jesus spoke the truth…NO ONE KNOWS BUT GOD!!!! And im ok with that…there are bigger issues at stake for us to work out than all this nonsense about dates and signs. Although the bible does say at times that we have interacted with angels and not been aware of it “Hebrews 13:2”, the bible also says the devil disguises himself as an angel sometimes “2 Corinthians 11:14” Jesus is a JEWISH man…. Eve didn’t eat the apple because the serpent told her to, she ate the apple because she thought it would make her like God, with wisdom and power, and the ability to have her eyes and understanding enlightened. “Genesis 3: 4-6” The truth of the matter is many Christians in America wouldn’t want Jesus to come back right now anyway, because they are not ready for Him to return. They think because they have prayed a prayer and repeated some little phrase that they are ok before God, but the truth is many of them will be rejected from Him on the day of judgment. The group that stands before Him described in Mathew Chapter 7vs 21, fits the mold of todays American Christian, they know His name, and even have a list of accomplishments, but they are rejected from God because they lack intimacy with Him. The Word Jesus uses here is the word “ginosko in the greek” or intimacy / intercourse. And the only way we really know if we will be accepted by Him is if we are obedient to His world…consider how clear it is in 1 John 2: 3-6 3We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone obeys his word, God’s loveb is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. Just a word of encouragement and direction…..Wouldn’t our time be better spent getting to a place of intimacy with Jesus, sharing His love with a lost world around us? Hey…we all know Jesus is coming back….the problem is ...(read more) |
