Army, 4 Years
Served in the MP Corps (95BV5) The cast majority of my service was at Ft Riley KS, where I served as MAP Patrol,, Chemical Nuclear, and Biological Warfare NCO, and finally as a Sgt in the MP investigations. I enjoyed my service and would have stayed for a career if I hadn't met my Air Force husband, We flipped a coin, he stayed for the 20 years and I went to graduate school. I think we both won that toss:)

Started out in the WA NG 286th Engineer Company in Bellingham in 1987. Upon completion of school I went onto active duty and took the trip across the pond to Germany. I deployed with the 3rd ID 10th Engineers to Operation Desert Storm. I have been around the world a few times. Stationed in Keflavik, Iceland; Tong-du-chon, ROK; I deplyoed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and have made 2 deployments to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division. I am currently awaiting retirement. I was injured in April of 2010 and fighting Leukemia, but the world will never bring me down.
