Matador Football 2010
The Matadors are excellent so far this year with only one loss to Abilene Wylie 21-19, and are expected to win district hands down. District opponents are Lamesa(Mats win 27-7), Brownfield, Shallowater, Levelland and Lubb Cooper. Coach Danny Servance has the Mats in good shape and ready to play with a winning attitude. Our defense is awesome and #21 Abigide is quite a running back, amassing almost 900 yards so far this year(thru 6 games). I suspect he will be player of the year for city honors as well as district 2-3A

Matador Football 2008
Estacado, so far in 2008 have won against Greenwood and lost to Hereford, Pampa, Snyder and Canyon. See EHS Home page for photos from 4 of those games. Let's get out and support the Mats as they start district play with Perryton at Lowery Field, Lubbock. Go Mats!!
Mats in the playoffs!
EHS made the playoffs in 2007, first game: defeated Pampa, 2nd game: defeated El Paso Austin, 3rd game: lost to Wichita Falls Rider. It was a great season under new head Coach Danny Servance(previously with Odessa Permian). The Matadors are back!! Go Blue! Can't wait till 2008 when the Matadors go all the way.
