ALUMNI OF EHS CLASS OF '65 MET ON OCT> 16-17

How special the old halls of Elba High are was reemphasized recently when the Class of 1965 met and enjoyed assembling, thanks to outstanding alumni Catherine (Bowden) Young, Linda (Thomas) Smith, Glenda (Marler) Frazier, Janice (Holley) Strickland, and others I so forgetfully am not mentioning, through no intent. I apologize to them! We laughed and cried for the last time as a reunion group, having decided to meet never again as a Graduating Class, but only for an annual luncheon/dinner. Man, was it not wonderful to see one another after 50 years, or what?!!!? The love was evident, as we shared memories and laughs and tears. Ten of us pre-deceased the Class Meeting. We remembered them, and celebrated our 50th anniversary since May 21, 1965 Graduation. To those who could not make it, let us hear from you! Join the ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, too. Thanks to those alumni who set up the EHS Alumni Association. As the years pass, memories fade, but memories of the old halls "shall ner be forgotten" formed at our beloved EHS!
